Sacred Chant Retreat
March 2nd till 7th in Yelapa, Mexico. http://www.spiritvoyage.com/EventPage.aspx?EventId=TIX-900233The staff has been arriving for a few days and each day they will do sadana at 5 Am on the beach in front of the hotel. Classes start today at 3 PM.
I met with them as they were eating lunch at the hotel Laugunita and we reminisced about the beginnings of 3HO and went through my book which has a photo of Snatam Kaur's dad at the Holy Man Jam. Her mom is on the left and the woman standing in the middle is Larry's sister. The Sikh in the middle sings with Guru Singh, Guru Genesha Singh.
They are doing five days of retreat with a bit of Yoga thrown in. They have rented the entire Laugunita Hotel and the staff have the houses behind along the path up river. Everyone cleaned up their places and vacated so they could have their rooms. It is quite the deal here and looks like it will be a lot of fun.
